Hello all.

Here goes, a couple of evenings ago i popped into Tesco (in Bradford) for fuel followed by some shopping which i had to do. As i parked up i opened my door (VW Polo GTI mk5) and got out, just as i was about to close my door some foreigners came shooting in next to me in there car (there were 3 of them and were either Iraqi's or Kurd's), they were in a black Toyota Carina R reg.

I thought they were going to hit me and they had to break sharply and as they did they all started to look at me in a bad way, as i closed the door i had a quick look at them and one of them started to wind the window down very quickly looking at me in a bad way. By this time i thought quickly get to the store which was around 40 metres away and i had a look back at them as i thought they might have a go at my car, but they were all stood outside the car still giving me that same look.

I was in the store for about 10 minutes and as i was going to the till to pay, you can see outside the store as the exit is quite big and i could see they were out there waiting for me (i dont know if they spotted me). I paid for my things and went past the exit, but they weren't there. I guess they may have come into the store looking for me. Anyways i had a word with the security guard to tell them what happened and he said that he would walk with me to my car as you never know they may have been hiding there waiting.

At this point i quickly got in my car and went away.

Has anybody else been in any similar situation as its the first time its ever happened to me, do you think it would have been a good idea to contact the police say for example if there was no security guard in the store. I'm not sure if there are any security cameras in the car park but i know they are in the store.

Sorry if its a bit of an essay, but any advice would be very much appreciated.

take a gang of boys down with you next time, perhaps get your windows tinted so they cant see them in the back of your car, then see if they come and give you hastle, if they do, just let your presence be know to them but dont go looking for a fight.

or perhaps simply park closer to the entrance.

I have had something slightly similar happen to myself before twice and it is rather scary to put it bluntly .

I was parked in a fairly rougth area waiting for a friend . A bunch of around 7-12 kids surrounded my car and we asking questions like .

"what car is this" "Does it go fast" "Blah Blah Blah"

At this point with my window down and keys on view i become paranoid about what they are going to do .

Shortly afterwards they are asking me for ciggarettes and a pound to which i oblige i do not have .

One stuck his arm through the window in attempt to grab my keys . Luckily i had my madhead of a mate also in the car with me . He cracked the guy clean on the chin .. This was saught of a good thing to do but then i thaught shiit .. I'm buggerd now like 10 on 2 and I'm sat in my car stuck ..

I started the car up and rev'd it in attemp to get the m to move from infornt of me and around the back .

When a small gap opend i gave it some beans in reverse and shot of down the street with them chasing me .

With a saught of mad max reverse 180 turn i managed to turn around and head away form them .. However one kicked the side of my car putting a dint in the rear quarter .

Neadless to say i never went down that street again . They arnt even the type of people i would go to settle a score as such with .. Just darn right thieving stabbing little council house scum .

The other ocasion i was ovetaken by a nonce in a bmw who then slowed down to 15Mph on a 40Mph road i swiftly overtook him as he was being a gay and i was about to run into the back of him due to him speeding up and slamming his brakes on all the time . Driving like a complete tool to be fair ..

We stopped for some lights 300m down the road .. (bare in mind this is a large roundabout on the ringroad at rush hour in the morning) The bloke got out of his car and walked over to mine opened my door and had a go at me as iff i tried to make him crash into the back of me . The lights turned green and i drove off leaving him looking like a fool being mardy holding up rushour traffic on a large roundabout junction .

Must say though when you are sat in your car and someone is screaming at you through the window or there just stood up you feel extreemly vunerable .

You had a right to feel like that, they can be threatening, and especially in Bradford people are just looking for

a fight for no reason. Especially if theres a group of them, its something for them to do.

I never get threated like that but I've been walking through Bradford, whether the centre, up by the uni or thornton road and there'll be a group of lads in a car that shout stuff at me (I'm a white girl, blonde) and I've even walked along and theyve driven slowly at the side saying stuff to me. Not a very nice situation to be in.

It just seems like they were looking for a fight. I've never been in such a situation before as i've lived in Bradford all my life. Maybe it was because they were Iraqi's or Kurd's (and there are loads of them in Bradford) they think they could just make there own rules up. i.e. attack anyone that looks at them and it could be something they do on a basis.

Even if it was with other lads in the car with me i wouldn't want to start a fight as i'm not that kinda guy.

I thought they would have damaged the car, but luckily it was fine when i got back home and inspected it.

Sound at leas thtere is no damage to the car but it is harsh knowing that you cant really look at people without them thinking you have some grievence towards them ..

You definately did the right thing by not causing any agro. Would like to say i'd do the same, but i'd of probably ended up confronting them. Which isn't the right thing to do as it'd be followed by a brawl and jail time, lol.

Its best to keep your cool and walk away from it. As a guess i would say that these 3 immigrants in the car wouldn't have known have to speak english or know very little off it. Some of them wouldn't even communicate and just go in for an attack especially when it was me by myself and 3 of them. The car they were in probably not registered too where they are living and no insurance.

one day, he has one of those massive arctic lorries and managed to drive over the front of this asian lads car.

Opps Anyway they both got out, asian lad shouting his head off BIG TIME (as you would really) then my friends dad said..

'Ok, well i'll just call the police and get them down here to sort this out..''

Suddenly the asian lad goes 'err..no no no just leave it'' *jumps back into his damaged car and drives off with a trail of bodyparts behind*

Better to keep it all civilised and get out of there in one piece although round here, theres loads of 'lost' people who evidentally think they run the place.

I can only take so much of them and unfortunately go by the 'take no prisoners' route so if i found myself surrounded in the car, i'd quite happily run afew of the bastards over if i thought things were getting outta hand.

No point telling the police here either. They never bother doing shit as they have problems communicating!

Yeah you did the right thing by notifying the security because you never know what could of happened which is unfortunately very fucking well typical of this country now.

And Stevie I was in a very similar position yesterday as you were with that gang but unfortunately as I went to reverse I stalled and was badly beaten and another little shit face was trying to attack my mate but didn't get very far so kicked my car in. Honestly I can't work out what the fuck is up with the world atm because it keeps becoming a regular occurance

But one good thing is that I turned up for a job interview this morning looking very worse for wear explained my situation and was taken on for a full time trainee position :-D

I'm usually pretty hostile if anyone looks at my pride and joy in the wrong way only way to deal with the b@sterds round ere as the police are about as usefull as bloody sesame street

and if I'm outnumbered with half of al qaeda about to launch a full on attack I've usually got baseball bat or nearest object on the back seat with some swift violence or i let my baby rotty loose :p iraq's dont seem to like dogs

My concern is that they could have possibly taken down my reg number of even taken a photo of the reg and car in order to get me afterwards. if they see me around.

you did the right thing mate, they were blatantly looking for a fight by the sounds of things. back when i was growing up if you had a problem with someone you sorted it out one on one, you have no hope of that these days, no one seems to have the balls to do any thing without a gang of lads behind them or some form of tool in there hand. i've been jumped by groups of lads a few times, gave my best but ultimately theres only really one out come when your out numbered, its a fucking great felling when you catch them on there own tho

The only encounter I've had was in a car park for Curry's. I swung out of my parking spot and clipped a rather nice Audi's headlight. A small crack. Still not great.

Anyway some actual Gypsy bird comes out screaming and shouting, and I'm apologizing like a madman. She call's her boyfriend, who evidently was a meat head. And he wasn't any more understanding.

So being 17, and just insured. No way was i going down that road. I got their address, and said i would sort it all out. So i went to the local scrapyard and picked up a light for 70 pounds. Sorted.

Anyway, i got there as i was taking the old one out of their car, I told them some wind about being a Mechanic etc. i noticed the inside of the bodywork was a different color. So it had been resprayed. Which is pretty rare on a 57 plate. With old bird watching me i whipped out my mobile and tried my luck. I told her i was on the phone to the local Audi main dealer and they have a slot for them in this afternoon which i was booking.

Needless to say they weren't into that idea and hastily thanked me for what i'd done and saw me on my way.

So yeh, someone had a stolen car.

Phoned police etc, not sure what happened.

Sounds like you did the right thing, it's all well and good being able to sort bother out, but it's far better to keep out of it in the first place.
