hay ady2k5, you totally did the right thing.. my advice, is do not mess around, cover your own back and make sure you are safe at all times when confronted by people like that (especially in the bradford area)

I'm a doorman on the local nite clubs and we regularily have to eject people from the club and this can sometimes even leave us vunerable, especially going home at 4am walking back to the car or generally being in the town!! its not nice feeling like this and you shouldnt have too.

on a similar note, i was driving the other nite to the coop with ma girlfrend and a group of 8 lads (16ish) walked across the road, holding me up. me being me - said something lol. i drove into the car park only to find them follow me. now let me explain, I'm not the biggest guy but i am a kickboxing champion (as is my girlfrend) I'm ex army, and a doorman (as explained) so i got out of the car and sent my girlfrend away (dont want her getting hurt!!!) politely asked if they had a problem and told them to stay away from my car. this resulted in me getting smacked in the mouth and my car spat at.....so just to do the honourable thing, i kicked the sh*t out of all of them and left them lying there as i drove off lol

reminded me of some 80s movie or something but was funny as, teach the little chavs to think they're hard lol.

tho i am worryed about reprecussions on my car, as its not like any of us drive discreet cars

We stopped for some lights 300m down the road .. (bare in mind this is a large roundabout on the ringroad at rush hour in the morning) The bloke got out of his car and walked over to mine opened my door and had a go at me as iff i tried to make him crash into the back of me . The lights turned green and i drove off leaving him looking like a fool being mardy holding up rushour traffic on a large roundabout junction .

Must say though when you are sat in your car and someone is screaming at you through the window or there just stood up you feel extreemly vunerable .

Hence why i have a fire extinguisher in easy reach with the pin out.

I've had someone punch my windscreen on my old car he slammed the brakes on, on an empty road and i swerved round him and he then followed me, i was going to my archery club were the second he got out and started shouting a lot of well armed well built lads came out to help, so he punched the windscreen in an attempt to break it, sadly it was armourlite, just saw his fist go splat (not pretty) into the windscreen and his face go white, by this point uni security were on the scene and grabbed him as he tried to get back into his own car.

Since then i always make sure the extinguisher is there to fire off to give some getaway time plus its not illegal to carry one in the front of your car..

Had one like that try to punch out the camry's drivers window once while I was working in London (after I committed the heinous sin of not letting his mate cut out in front of me), shame my foot slipped off the brake and he ended up smacking the b-pillar full pelt. Not totally sure what happened, but by the look on his face he broke at least one knuckle.

This whole respect thing sounds like newquay, went there with my girlfriend on holiday for the ripcurl boardmasters, my mom was down there as well on holiday so i went and met up with her in the morning for breakfast, walking down the high street and theres 10 of the scrawniest chavs poncing down towards us, the smallest one barges me in the shoulder and gives me a dodgy look, me not expecting it i was knocked back, so i turned around and looked at him, next thing his mates are all 'dogging me up' giving the abuse, i turned around and walked away (I'm not getting jumped on for this!) i went for a surf down on one of the beaches later on and who do i see, these little chavs, and what are they throwing at a pice of wood.....flick knives! it sort of shows the society we live in these days.

sad thing is i was just another one of those families trying to have a holiday with my mom, theres also the fact that wen they are on there own they wouldnt do shit!

dont worry about them memorising your numberplate and finding you, they probably can't even read

the worst is when you get a group of young guys driving like cocks in a fancy new car, then if you overtake them because they're going too slow (just wanting to piss you off), they'll start cutting you up, tailgating you and you don't want to slam the brakes because you know they're uninsured! :(

I pulled up at a party at a labour club a few months ago, got out the car and within seconds about 20 lads from another school came running over, got back in my car after taking a few hits, reversed out the pitch like a nutter, while glasses and bottles were flying, one of them smashed my back window through, and i sped away.

Needless to say, things were swiftly sorted out the next day.

But to be honest, its never worth squaring back up or anything as fights aren't fights these days with the way things are.

They were just trying to scare you dude i think, obviously worked

One of my mates was driving his lupo a couple of months back and this car full of chavs behind him kept tailgating him, but instead of slamming his breaks on he just carried on as normal, but they obvisouly realised this wasnt annoying him enough so they pulled up along side him and started shouting abuse at him out of the window. he just carried on driving becuase couldnt be bothered with them pulling out a knife or gun ( it is croydon!!). Then some dick in the back pulled out this baseball bat with nails on the end of it and started smacking his car in with it!! a lot of damage was done to his car all because of those stupid dicks with nothing better to do on a saturday afternoon!!

anyway he called the police and the driver was found out to be uninsured with a driving ban!! and his mate that beat the car got in shit aswell ( cant remember exactly what!!)

some people have no lives!!!!
