Well I'm travelling down today for a mates wedding which is tomorrow. I thought i'd give the car a wash and polish and fit a few bits and pieces that i've been accumulating!

First a couple of pictures of a spare 16v rocker cover I have:

before-

After a good polish-

New tail lights-

Headlight protectors-

And finally- let the arguing begin - MARMITE!

Each to their own - told you they were marmite - you either hate them or love them!

i think it looks pritty cool when its lowered :p

That chop looks ok actually. Something different is never a bad thing.

They did look crap on a mk3 though. look pretty shigadee shwaa on the valver when its dropped though :-)

8-) to be different

i love them wheels but would never have them

that makes no sense

looking good dude, not a fan of the wheels though sorry.

wheels suit the mk4 so much better than the mk3 andy

get it lowered! 8-)

Hmmm look much better on the Mk4 than they ever did on the G40 or GTD... But... still look like they should be on a Saab!

i was just thinking that. I've never reli liked them or the horrid looking mk3 they come from. but they "work" with the mk4 better i feel. think have the problem i have with them is they are polished and I've never been a fan of polished unless is some BBS dish. meh

andy how did u get ure mk5 rears near enuff flush? mine stick out like a swore thumb!

You're right, they are Marmite wheels. I still don't like 'em fitted to the 6n, sorry!

Mind you, I don't much like the dented door, the rusty rear arch and the fact that its a 5 door!

Scrap it before the gearbox blows up!!:lol:

wheels look crap without lowness

16V 5 door polo? now thats a new one on me :S loving the wheels... i cant believe it isnt lowered yet! its crying out for it with those new wheels bud. keep up the good work!!

i hated them wheels on the mk3, they look so much better on the mk4

I quite look of the chopped picture with the wheels. Something different anyway, will it be lowered any time soon?

haven't done anything to the mk5 lights, no mods at all! Just used a hella adapter so I didnt have to modify my wiring!

haven't got round to the bodwork yet! Needs loads of work done - the only panel that doesnt need any work is the roof - everything needs a respray and the bonnet requires replacing, along with some surface scabs on the doors, rear arch and sill there is no other rust anywhere! they underside is spotless!

Will look cool once lowered I think mate. And maybe loose the sidestrips too, i've never liked em on 6n's. They bust out the polish some more, black cars look amazing when polished!
