does anybody know morthan limitations on mods etc,

Purely cosmetic, anything that increases, acceleration, top speed or handling is a no no.

(got a few friends who work there so i got them to tell me)

i spoke to them earleir and they said that if it incresaes accleration or top speed they wont insure, thats what it says on their website, and coilies and lowerd suspension are ok, just one other question does just a back box really increase your top speed or acccelration how can they prove it?

More Than allows coilovers and lowered suspension?? Did they tell you over the phone or was that on the website??

says on their insurance policy if you download it off the net they dont allow and mods that increase top speed or accelration and thats what the guy on the phn said and that handling dosent come into it i rest my case, also he said you can put different alloys on if you want

How much will it put your premium up tho?

I'm currently waiting for my mum to ring up and declare my lowering but everything is so hectic atm she doesnt have time to and they wont let me change anything on the policy (I'm with morethan)

Thats what i got told when i phoned up asking if they would insure me if i got i lowered (which i haven't). But on the interent it says only mods that increase top speed and acceleration are not allowed.

Yep thats what i said, as thats wt i based getting everythin fitted on, now i have to fuck about with taking the new suspension off and putting the old stuff back on, which takes the piss as i start my new job on monday so will have no time to do it next week and then the week after i'm having an op on my elbow so wont be able to lift the suspension. I'm fooked

I asked wt they would insure mod wise and they said 'very little i think its only about 3 things that we insure', its bollocks! the website is seriously misleading, if there was anyone i could complain to i would but theres no point as i'd just get laughed at.

they tried explaining how it increased accereration, saying i can accelerate quicker especially in corners,erm no it just stops body roll, the engine and everything that power the car are standard. arrogant nob said no 'sir, it does increase the acceleration therefore the performance' ERGH MONG DOES IT FUCK!

Phone them up and mention what their site says, but speak to a manager. Theres probs more people thats done the same and its caused problems for them aswel.

I'm gona leave it till oct and then ring them up again n basicly try declaring mods n then when the refuse and say they'l cancel the policy i'l refuse to pay any cancellation fee's so i'll save myself a few pennies.

I only took the policy out last month based on the fact they would accept mods (and being cheapish lol) so i can see them kicking off with a large cancellation fee come oct when i say byebye
