B3 Passat 2.0 16v Varient - Slammed!

Featured Replies

Hi Folks,

I'm putting out a feeler for my car as I've found something I really want instead, I was going to break it but lack of space is an issue!

Good bits:

130,000 mile 9A lump in good nick, no rattles or smoking habits

Cambelt and tensioner changed only 6K ago.

Body has a couple on small dings but is in pretty good shape for it's age.

Electric Windows all round

Electric tilt and slide sunroof

Electric mirrors

PAS

Brand new Passat Back box

Hottuning Coilovers with brand new top mounts

4 x steel wheels with excellent tyres

Dark grey cloth in almost perfect condition

Tinted rear lights

V5 in my name

Bad bits:

No MOT

No Tax

Needs a couple of patches on drivers side sill to pass MOT

Exhaust blow from middle section

Handbrake is boderline pass

Heater matrix leaks.

The deal:

Cross my palm with £500 and you can take it away (Legally on a trailer but it drives fine if you're the dodgy sort). This car is an ideal donor for a 2.0 16v conversion if your car is already K-Jet and will also allow you to wide trck a MKII golf for better handling. THe coilovers and tinited rear lights plus other bits would probably get you close to getting back a large chunk of the money I'm asking for it.

Alternativley if you can weld then an afternoons work will probably see it MOT worthy and you can run it as is or sell it on for a bit of profit. I can leave 5 months tax on it for an extra £50.

Sooooo £500 without tax or £550 with.

Pm me or text/call 07734 963525.

Location Basingstoke

Cheers fella :-)

Just realised you can drive it home legally by booking it in for an MOT at your local station as it has tax this is legal. When you get home cancel the MOT appointment and bob's your Uncle!

Right sorted funds for a new ride, off to look at one on saturday which fits the bill so if all's OK I need this shot before next weekend so I can swap the insurance over.

No sensible offer refused.
