Is it possible to stretch on a 5.5j 13" wheel?

If so anyone know what size tyre ill need?

edit: i just realised i sounded exactly like the people i hate on this site. I HIGHLY recommend getting some 175s or near that on that rim, don't stretch on a 5.5j as you will be making friends with walls/trees/cars delete as appropriate.

you used to be able to get 135, why in hells name you would want to do it is beyond me. are you suicidal?

I used 145/80/13s once and they were awful. First thing I did was bin them and get something with a reasonable amount of tread!

if you dont want to go mega wide then a 6.5j wide rim running 165 low profile tyres looks good and handles pretty nicely too, still won't get much stretch, but the stretch is more of a purpose (i.e getting silly wide rims under little arches without scrubbage) rather than look in my eyes.

get them banded. You could get some MEGA dish onto some 5.5s!

best size tyre for a polo with 13 x 5.5J wheels is exactly what G40s came with in the first place,

175 60 13s

I've got some spare moped tyres somewhere, sure they're something like 120/70 and 130/60 13"

My MK2 Fiesta came with 135/80/13 tyres on wheels that were about 4 inches wide.

They had a little stretch and looked shit. The grip was shit. They were just shit.

Seems as if you just want stretch for the sake of it when it's actually un-needed, as opposed to actually requiring it because your wheels are so wide.

I dont know hwo you'd stretch a bike tyre, the sidewall goes inwards soo much
