Earthed to rear seatbelt mount , bit hard to explain, took the carpet off the sides bits in the boot

How did you mount the tweeter on the door mate?

Cut a hole for the lil mounting bracket, and then screwed the tweeter in the door

Sounds simple enough, cool.

that is one problem I've had fitting systems into polo's...the double blue/red inlet/outlet wires have the plugs on them and where the system sits...there is not enough room haha...

yer i know its long, but we had a few problems, firstly we could't seem to find a 60amp fuse so we went looking round for one for about an hour. Secondly it took me bout half hour to get the original headunit out as we didn't have the keys, then when the sub and amp was wired up it was not getting power so after about half hour of diagnostics i found nothing wrong so i took the fuses from the wiring kit and looked at it and its wasn't broken so i was stumped, but i put the fuse back in the holder and all of a sudden it wrked for some reason, very oddd. then right at the end when i was fitting the headunit i found out he needed a adaptor for the radio cable so tht needed another trip to halfords.

In all it did take longer then expected, I've learnt from experience and would probably get it done alot faster in the future.

looks good mate, but isnt the purpose of tweeters to bring the sound staging up closer to your ears? seems like a funny place to mount them to me

yeah mate that was simple, just a hole drilled in the side, and fed the cables through!

was told they sound best the closer they are to the components, and they do face up...sounds good to me
