Hi been looking for achin spoiler for my car early mk2 for awhile. But not had any success at all. Do they exist? I was told by aguy at the leeds show that a mk1 jetta will fit. Is this true? Also I need some plastic wheel arches because my wheels stick out by a mile!! I want some black plastic stock looking ones tho can anyone recommend any?

hi mate, i put a mk3 golf VR6 splitter/front spoiler on my mk2 coupe, the only thing is i had to cut it in the middle and re-join it as it was origionally wider than the car obviously. so you could try that?

hay dude ino some one thats got a mk1 golf front spliter on there mk2 bready , n iv got my mates mk1 caddy spliter on mine tho had to b modded

I have tried a mk1 golf front splitter but it was not to my liking. I have noticed in the back of my haynes manual that the gt's where fitted with what i am looking for but had no success tracking one of them down either. I even went to vw but they dont make or have any in stock.

I've seen small bumpered mk2 golf lower spoilers used...either gti or non gti versions

i assume some modding/trimming is req

I've fitted a mk1 golf duckbill splitter to the mark 1, requires a little trimming on the corners to meet up flush with the wings and you will need to drill holes into your front panel, you can use self tappers or preferably rubber nuts/bolts or cable ties as if you catch it on a bump or whatever itll do less damage to your front panel that self tappers

vics derby (euro-derby) has the non gti chin splitter fitted, again he trimmed the edges to meet flush and used some rubber mountings of some sort, he did tell me but i was mashed and was just singin cable ties, cable ties in my head

The one that I saw at Tatton park on the mk1 jetta wrapped around the front valence and then around the bottom part of the wheel arches where they begin. Is there anything like that? The guy who I spoke to said you could buy them readily of german ebay and from a company based in germany.
