You tried VW themselves?

i think they're about £25 a pop retail from vag someone was saying on here last time

Yes they are expensive from VW, I paid £13 plus delivery for a pair of top mounts from VWSpares.co.uk

I was quoted from my local garage £19 each plus VAT. Id rather not pay 40 quid if i can pay 15.

GSF or ECP website

i think you get what you pay for - vag all the way

Well the original ones i had where VAG, and lasted 6 months, roads here are shite and holes appear overnight.

Shame i always hit them hard.

People slate the GSF ones, if you buy from GSF ask if they stock the modified mounts. They saw my car was slammed and said i need them. They seemed fine, rock hard suspension around huddersfield roads (Like driving a mine field. I sold the car after having them on for 8+ months and they were still sitting flush like they should when their not fucked.

so GSF are the ones to go with ? as I'm on a buget now but I'm in need of some topmounts also, i cant stand the clunking noise from mine!

In my experience you could do worse then GSF mounts, but i carn't compare them to euro car parts or VW but they did good for me.

Just make sure the bearings are nice and smooth before putting them on. I think i added some extra bearing grease to mine but carn't remember for sure.
