Well... Here we go!

not quite finished the roof yet, got a bit of overspray so am going to sort the lines out today but I am so happy with how it looks right now, definitely the best state that it's been in since day 1-

A big change, I like it. Maybe some different tail lights though? I dunno they just look a bit too dark.

I preferred it green tbh.

nahhh

the colour is what made the car, now its just another mat black polo....

The orange is good but its still mat black

looks a mess IMO

its getting better, but loose all the stickers, and whats going on with the cushons ffs? sort it out lad!!!

eeeek, not another matt bloody black. i dont like it at all dude. the green was what made that car!

of all the colours in all the world you had to use the most over used and bland colour available

imo its lost all its character and as said above just looks a mess, but its your car and if you like it then thats all that matters mate. my old polo was matt black, but i've had my eyes opened since then, with matt colours the only limit is your imagination my friend and judging from the last colour you had it i'm guessing you have a good amount of that, so next time you paint it use it ;)

I know matt black has been very done, as everyone says above, but although the green looked really good in the pictures, the paintwork was shocking! it was brown for the last few months, but again the finish on it was so terrible, so I decided to give in and get the blackboard paint out, knowing that the finish wouldn't matter anywhere near as much.

-It just so happens though that once we'd flatted it back and started painting the black ,we noticed that the finish really is a lot better than any of the coats before. I am a lot more happy with the car now, and that's what really matters eh?

Besides, I have plenty more plans for the car to bring back loads of the individuality, don't you worry about that!

Maybe a bit easier to appreciate the work gone into spraying it if the car was actually clean when you took the photos?

Spraying?! What's that? Roller ftw.

quality! looks good imo,

we should start a rollered cars club. i done my mk4 matte black with a roller (i bought the paint from focus haha ) , I'm thinking of doing it again with propper matte car spraypaint now though.

I've got a chequered roof aswell, black and white though.

i prefer it to the green because that was hideous

but i wouldn't have the guts to spray/roller a car in matt black :retard:
