Anyone ever heard of it? (030 905 205 AD)

I've heard of of 'P' and 'T' and even the mk4 'AB' coded ones but not this little blighter.. can anyone confirm it's the right one?

AB ones are the closest u can get to a gt/g40(P OR T) one and work much better than spi (AA) ones

Yeah I know about the 'AB' ones.. they're off some mk4s and golfs etc. aren't they?

the AB ones are off mk4s and will work fine, but the AD one will definitely run shite mate

AB ones are good (mk4 polo), if you fit the wrong dizzy you will just have a really bad idle (650rpm IIRC) so its worth getting as a spare if its cheap enough..

I believe Gaz had a GT on the rolling road with the wrong dizzy and there was a little divet in the curve but nothing major i don't think, i ran mine for a few weeks on a AA dizzy and didnt notice any better performance apart from the better idle..

If it's for a 1.05 then it probably has the wrong trigger wheel spacing so will cause erratic idle and advance. The problem with having the wrong dizzy is not so much all out performance but on part throttle with my 1.4 it would judder/knock like mad unless I ran a very retarded base advance which made hot starting difficult.

Well the 'T' coded one I have fitted at the mo is fine except for the fact it's letting oil through into the dizzy cap :(

Change the seal, they're usually green on the dizzy itself
