Didn't stop the usual pricks in 4x4's doing about 90 in the outside lane with about 30 yards visibilty.

I'm slightly ashamed of this, but I was shouting "I HOPE YOU CRASH YOU FUCKING DICK" quite a lot.

I was in the car on my own, btw.

P.S. I only want them to crash into some inanimate object, not another innocent motorist.

I'm glad you were going slow tbh. I couldn't see shit on the way there and halfway on the way back too.

And guesswork isn't ftw its ftl. lol.

Agreed. Guesswork was back on A65, windows steamed up again, shite wipers, headlights too dark, oncoming cars trying to blind me.

was the rain really that bad

in blackpool it was ok

Yeah, honestly, at one point I turned my wipers off, 'cos it made no difference.

Add lots of spray to the rain, and it ws not a good result.

For about 15 miles of the M6, I couldn't really tell if I was in lane or not, the lines just weren't visible.

If you see my avater, it's spraying a bit, and that was before it got bad.
