Work involved

Hey,

What kind of work to drop the 1.8 16v in a mk4 Polo? Changing engine mounts?

Brakes is obvious I know, but been offered it at a steal of a price!!

Cheers

Nick

they don't fit. Physically mounting it is the same amount of work as a 1.8 20vT, wiring is a bit simpler though. Still talking a LOT of money unless you are a good fabricator yourself and can make custom engine mounts, subframe etc...

I remember someone putting a Golf gti engine in a mk3 not so long ago, wasn't the most elegant of fitting but i think they did it as a bit of a laugh.

You could pay someone to do it but i would rather fit a g40 turbo which will be alot quicker then a 1.8
