wanted - plastic sheeting inside mk2/3 doors

Featured Replies

my car leaks slightly as the inner sheeting is ripped behind the door card. Is anyone breaking one as i'd like both sides in as good condition as possible.

thanks

You can use the plastic from cement type bags from builders merchants! you just have to trim it to fit, bit of double sided tape n its all good! Works a treat, no1s gonna see it as well so looks don't matter!!

They'd be near impossible to take off the car without destroying them as the door card clips are attached through the actual plastic sheeting. When I eventually fit my central locking/alarm kit and speaker pods I'm going to make some new sheets out of some old compost bags and fix them on with spray glue.

Hi Pete, I have an L reg mk3 square that belongs to my sister that got written off.

Will have a look for the sheets tonight and let you know. the door cards have been removed so will be easy to remove if needby.

coool - you remove the clips on the outerside and bottom by pushing the middles in! then pull the clip out..

the 2 clips by the hinge( round things) you need to get yr hand in and squeeze the tabs together before it comes out.

ta - let me know
