hey guys and gals!

well picked this up on monday, written off mk5 polo match with a tasty wee engine conversion in it! mk5 1.6 16v gti XD:

as u can see I've already started to strip it down! loads of the interior is out... dash board is how ever confusing as fook =S and the front ends off!

the conversion should be going ahead at the start of oct if not sooner!

its going in to my wee polo 1.4 8v:

i should of done this to my 6n in my avatar but i just went out and bought a boring 6n2 gti, should of kept the 6n much more fun

Wow I can't wait to see how this turns out - especially a 6n2 dash in a 6n which I think makes the 6n interior look old. A Mk4 GTI which they didn't release over here will be very special, keep updated

xcore, yeah i will be going on m mums insurence once put th lump in tbh lol other wise my insurence will be like hhh aye thats another 1500 on top of you are already paying 1300 please... bastards lol

little update!

thats almost the whole interior out now... onto all of this confusing wiring loom haha

got a few bits in the engine bay out... the loom will soon be out to XD manifolds off and cat!

scored a wee deal with my mate also, i wont be running the gti gear box as I'm tring something differnt! so since hes a mate I'm giving him the gear box for his bmc and 100 buks to get my arches pulled and rolled =] so i just saved myself 250 buks lol as i never new the gti box's were going for like 400 so i was just going to give him it for the bmc but he was truthful with m :)

i should be startin te conversion fairly soon me thinks, droping the lump out the doner car on monday I'm hoping!

oh for got to add, arches are getting rolled on thursday (11th sept)

what box u gonna use mate? i would love a gti conversion but i dont know how much of a difference it would make compared to a valver, puttin on in place of an 8v tho is tooo coool.

not saying just yet its a secret... if it works out i will tell use all what it is lol I've heard it isnt a mega differnce from the valver... but it is only 25 more brake than the valver! mines should be about 50 more brake than te valver I'm hoping muhaha time will tell tho!

cheers tho mate going to be a big step going from 60bhp to 125bhp+ lol

I've heard the 16v boxes work well with the gti. Jus gotta wait and see what your gonna pull out the bag!

chrisbin, doner car set me back 600 buks but no loss big gain because i just sold one of my bikes for 600 easy money lol

but nah not checked with insurence yet as i know I'm going to cry when they tell me the figures lol
