i thought to my self today i want to go a little different for polo show and no rice so i got to work. i also own a mk1 golf GTI and decided i would use the rims from that they are called turantula'a i believe thier nick name is they look like this:

so i took them off the golf

sanded them down and cleaned 2 of them

then gave them a grey primer

then a base of flouresent yellow

and then a clear coat

put them up against the car and they look crazy, will do them all and have them on for no-rice next week

they are very good cars, very likely to be rusty unless they are restored. so if your after a GTI make sure you have a proper look around it. but as far as a 1.1 goes there still well built cars dont knwo how much they go for. have a read on the mk1 owners website and it gives you a price guide somewhere. Yes mine was at edition.

Did something similar to my mk2 golf early on this year...driver stellies with a black lip and neon yellow centres.

Bright wheels for the win. :) This is my loop:

and here they are on the car, only front two i just finished spraying the rear two and i will put tyres on tommorow morning and post pics up in the evening i even gave my areial a little spray. to match things up. Cheers for all the comments i am surpirsed every one likes them ....
