hi all new guy here ,I've bought my first little runner which is a mk4 polo ,sprayed red and black 17 alloys de seemed boot and bad boy front end ,thing is the engines basicly crap and i want to up grade for a little more power ,my friend has a old mk3 golf 2.8 vr6 which i really fancy fitting into my mk4 polo ,but dose anyone any pics of how i go about fitting it ,as its a turbo 2.8 lump ,but ill have to make it a std one ,as theres not a lot of room to fit a turbo in there ,anyway can anyone advise or tell me what i need ,soon as i get the pics to work ill had my progress for everyone see ,thats if any of u guys,girls can possibly help,,,, :-D

the vr wasn't aturbo charged engin as standard

has been done theres a gold one floating somewhere, was on ph a while back

this is why i need info on whats basicly used to the engine in a mk4 polo,,i.e mounts cradle,driveshafts ????

lmao ,,,,,its only a polo,,,i know i can do it,,,as I've done a couple of others includeing a vw beetle 1971 and fitted a complete 850 twin 5clyinder turbo and gearbox in the rear,,,,thats nuts to drive too,as well as my old splitty which has a home made 3.0 v6 quad cam sat in it ,,all fun i reckon ,as well as this polo ,I've just bought a scrap vw caddy with I'm also fitting a complete 4motion turbo 4wd in it... :-D

It was...it's called the 4-Motion and it has the newer 24v version of the VR engine.

hi all may have been some confusesion some poeple call them the 6n polo ,i assumed it was a mk4 polo, 1.4 and the engines above its a 12 mk3 vr6 which will be fitted not the later 24valve v6 which is from a 2002 mk4 4 motion golf as thats going in my daily caddy ........ :-D should be a little hand fll if all goes well..

Was mag featured and wore the plate M4D VG

I thought venom motorsport were the first? Gotta remember the Pistashio Green Demo car they did.

unsure wheather to post but I've fitted the engine gearbox from the mk3 vr6 into this mk4 polo ,,,dose anyone know how to wire the engine loom into car with replaceing the complete fusebox etc , litle pic of the engine here
