dont worry has we had a big mix up in the past with the engine conversion , as you can see i reckon I've over come that now too ,,found how to sort the wireing too ,,so couple of months provideing i can locat a few more bits and she will be runing ,,,,i have thought about and thats as far as i got ,,,i reckon ,if i had a constant of work ,id go for it,,,, :thumbsup: haven't tryed the bonet yet ,lol as the engine heght was just gessed via eye height ,cheers,,i do have some usefull info on fitted wireing ,modifying one as well ,and i reckon id do another ,,,,

car was finished (non turbo) at poloshow this year.

it makes a nice noise, but it's no 1.8T ;)

i know the guy who built this car as i use to work for him, his name is grant fullerton and when he built it his buiness was called soley vw. this i believe was the first 6n vr6 conversion in the country. at one point the car had nos but my boss removed that before selling up. this is a very quick car and worth every penny too :-D

I'm building another mk4 vr6 polo , turbo is also a good idea as vr6 engines in polos are crap without a bit of midrange lift :-)

So it this adaptorman as in the bloke that actually built the car (and the vr6 caddy ect) that's posting in this thread or the lad that owned the car?

I remember there being a lot of confusion about this the last time :lol:

oh i saw this car once, met the lad to buy something off him, or whoever owned it anyway, i understand what was said about the turbo, it wasnt anywhere near as fast as id have thought
