What Is No-Rice?

Let me get this straight from the start. No-Rice doesn't hate 'rice' in it's true form - there's nothing wrong with Jap. The problem is with souped / maxxed / chavved up cars. People who 'rice' up their Mum's Corsa, or Grandad's pass-me-down Rover.

No-Ricer's seek a little more class and refinement. Reliability and mechanical engineering over all out power or looks.

No-Rice started rather un-ambitiously as a humble little picture site, just somewhere to host show pictures and so on. Unsatisified with what the cruise scene offered, an idea came about. It was simple - Cruise location, but on a weeknight.

A forum followed and evolved NR slowly over about 3 years to make it what it is now. We have a lively community and forum, we have what I imagine to be the largest monthly meet in the country. Most importantly, we don't behave like boyracers.

so how is a euro'd car "chavy" id define a chavy corsa as big body kit chrome wheels and an exhuast the size of a small child, and i didnt see any there?

The main thing that pisses me off is when you get complete dickheads racing up and down the car park when there are cars jam packed either side so if the idiot in question loses control he/she is very likely to damage a fair few number of cars

Another location would only temporarily solve the problem as the word of the new meet will spread fast and we'll be back with the same issue

think we should look for another location well thats if i can get there, wasnt long after u roly i went went to move my car n it wouldnt go in gear lol and everything was shaking now my gearbox box is making some terrible sounds its like metal apon metal scraping its so loud so its going to go anytime now
