this ad is for the 280mm brake kit consisting of worn discs and pads, 1 year old calipers and the spacer plates to move caliper out

i take it these use standard 6n hubs and not the 16v ones ?? if so i maybe interseted ! as 16v hubs seem very hard to get hold of for this conversion !

16v hubs are the only ones with bolt on carriers which is a must have for larger diameter discs, all other 6n's run solid carriers which make it impossible to increase disc size.

not sure where you're from but my local breakers have a couple in which would be suitable....

same problem as i have :(

maybe i should go down the breakers and get some valver hubs and put it all together as a full conversion kit but would obviously be at a cost.....

calipers for big brakes (280mm) were standard and sold.

adaptor plates with worn drilled and grooved discs £80, fit gt's and g40's too apparently!

you need minimum of 15" rims to clear these brakes.

hey mate is hte anyway i could get theres 2 fit on a mk3 polo g40 ????

as far as i know they bolt straight on as daveg40 sold his ones from his g40 to a mate of mine and we fitted them to a mk1 golf.
