kubica is, i reckon if Hamilton was his team mate kubica would be better. Anyway F1 is so one sided basically 2 teams against the rest, should be like the lesser one (can't remember the name gp2? where it's country against country) when all the cars are equal, would be better.

So he's penalised for avoiding a crash? The way i saw it he made a move, got closed out, the only other option would have been a big crash for both of them so he took the escape route. Once he was ahead he gave away the lead, and then resumed racing like a driver is meant to!

The thing is he let kimi go ahead again but hardly, he should of let him go further on, it was on the corner that it happenned lets just say Hamilton still tried to make the move and it didn't work but he was able to stay on the track, kimi would have gained a good half sec on hamilton but as it happens he had to cut the corner and he rightly let kimi back through but as it should of happenned he hadn't lost any time he actually gained time therefore being able to pass kimi on the straight whereas if he had managed to stay on the track around the corner he would of been no way near kimi let alone be able to pass him, therefore lewis wrongfully profited from cutting the corner. Thats my view of it anyway, i think it makes sense.

The only reason he's got punished is to make the points difference smaller, to keep it interesting for longer and keep bums on seats.

There's only 2 points in it, so competition is close, and the FIA know that F1 has had an issue with being boring in the past, so want to keep it interesting.

actual bullshit there... BMW sauber are a great team, and he'd still win. drivers make the cars, look at montoya, best/2nd best car... shit driver... toyota, spend a fortune, shit drivers, no results.

he stayed on the track by cutting the corner, if it was a street curcuit he never would've gone for that overtake in the first place. Used the run off to stay in the race. Yes he let Kimi pass him, but was then straight back in his slipstream all the way up the next straight.

If he'd have been a little more patient and waited a few more corners then it wouldn't have been an issue. He would have got passwed as Raikonen was struggling to keep the Ferrari on the road in the wet.

BUT... any penalty should have been applied during the race. To strip him of it afterwards ruins the Grand Prix as a spectale. You don't see it in any other sport, so why should F1 be any different?

if Hill had of won the championship in the same circumstances he would of probably of been stripped of the title

its because of the one sidedness towards Ferrari and the difference in the cars from one end of the grid to the other that the sport is so boring imo.
