At my local Ford garage were i live they have got the first (of the revised new version) Ford GT40 to roll of the production line on show but isn't for sale just go's round all ford garages.

Anyhow it's up for £115,000 and for a Test Drive it cost's for 1 mile, yep just 1 mile £1000 and apparently my mate who works at this Ford garage said a bloke had taken it on a 40 mile Test Drive that's a lot of money in an hour £40,000

I know this is bull but when i was told i thought it was so funny, i mean come on £1000 a mile you'd have to be of your head.

Anyway i thought it was funny when i was told so posted up on here to see what u guys thought. lol

Just rung them now to book my test drive though

just drove the GT to France! Should of cost me half a mil! Only thing is the milage counter was running windows vista and crashed so I only payed for 200 yards. Bargain! Still about £500 quid though

Its quite probably £1000 for the first mile of the test drive. This would be to deter just anybody from taking it for a test drive unless they could actually afford to buy the thing!

Plus i imagine to ensure the car for people to test drive must cost a fair bit.
