Got some great responses from my pictures when i posted them up in polo chat in July here:

Thought id update you on what I've been doing, and have somewhere to put future pictures. Most of these have been on polo3 for some time, but i reckon some of you dont go on there and might be interested anyway.

Once again:

So in reverse order...

Newest one, 80s DTM style, zakspeed capri inspired, mk2 polo coupe.

Still no mk4s yet, pretty much all mk2+3 polos atm. More will come though, so keep looking. I'll whack updates here as a permanent thread most likely.

As I've said before, i am looking into doing some for order to sell when i have the time, for a bit of extra money that i could do with when trying to run my car :p

These ones are just me experimenting with ideas, keeping myself active in drawing and for my portfolio etc.

If you are genuinely interested in paying money for an original (not a print like big companies, the actual drawing) of your exact car, or with any additional modifications, then PM me. I wont do them for free, unless its to say thanks for a favour my way or something, sorry people!

Dunno how much id charge yet though, would be nice to know what people would pay for this kinda thing?

a bit personal mate, dont answer if you dont want to, but what are you doing career wise (or would like to do), I'm at uni doing transport design, and your drawings kick seven bells out of mine.

These ones are A4 as thats what i enjoy doing and find the easiest. I have marker paper in A3 as well, which i can use but i dont find as easy to create an accurate looking image that size. I'm still learning and practicing though lol.

As for price, these ones arent for sale :) But as I've said if you want any done then in the future I'm hoping to be able to sell some.

How much would you pay for an A4 hand illustration of your own car, or a car of your choice with whatever design/mods you want?

I really dont know what id charge, considering you have to pay around £30 usually for prints of cartoon illustrations of generic modified cars. But that always sounded expensive to me.

What would you be willing to pay? :p

Nah thats cool, I'm currently studying automotive design at Coventry University, just about to go into my third year there.

Where are you studying that?

Theres lots of people at CU that could probs do this way better than me... but probs dont understand the vw scene or modified scenes that much. I like to think thats its the designs that catch peoples eye on here as much as the drawing quality :) But who knows...

Hopefully end up designing the new VWs in a few years time lol.

i thought u would be at coventry.I'm studying it at stoke mate, wishing i had gone to coventry though, I'm going into my third year too.

Decent pics mate i go cov too, just about to start 4th year! Hard work starts now lol. You'll soon be meeting the legend that is David Brown! Look out for the tight jeans and old skool nikes! haha, good luck with the 3rd year though mate, if u only do one thing this year though get your portfolio done and get a placement! I didnt get it done to get a placement wish i had though!
