i want to spray my front VW grill badge black, but dont know how to get the badge out.

i used the search option and got suggestions like pulling the badge out using just brute force, but that sounds abit sketchy to me, as i dont want to go an break my grill.

give it a gentle pull from the top, its an arse, once its off seperate the front shiney bit and the the grey tacky coloured bit behind it, ( dont worry if u break one of the 100 clips that hold them together) anyway, i say this because i sprayed mine seperatly, to get a better finish ,

Just puch the clips in slightly, an pop one out at a time, took me 5 secs, I'm pretty sure it wont break, hopefully!!
