Same mirrors as a MK5? Alot of people have put MK5 mirrors on MK4's

Oh i see, I heard something about needing a euro left hand side mirror for a stubby as they are different on rhd on the passenger side ? does anyone have a guide as I was looking to fit these before my respray

you need a uk spec nearside stubby and a german (foreign spec) offside stubby, however very occasionally there was the odd mk5 with both stubbies or larger mirrors, so just be careful.

and yes lupo mirrors are the same iirc

well i got mine off someone on here before scene tax took over and the prices went through the roof, but either VW themselves. a scrappers (very lucky to get one i would think) or as you say yes ebay.de, and use babblefish as a translator for a page or google translate or something

Just a respray in the same colour, some rust sorted, smoothing a few bits off and then I'm gonna get the interior sorted + then some show wheels :-) .

Wanted to have it all done and ready by edition38 2009 to be on a show stand or in the show ground section on the saturday

Apparently there is a "how to" about putting Mk5 Mirrors on a Mk4..
