help with tyre size please

Featured Replies

Hi there, as some people on here may know I've not got some 6.5" clio turbines but i need tyres, i was going to be getting some nankang's but the ''ditch finding wankang'' name they have developed has put me off abit, searching www.mytyres.co.uk I've come across some 195/45/15 dunlop sport 2040's

anyone got these on there car and do you reccomend them as a cheap dunlop? also anyone got any pics of them on a 6.5" rim I'm afraid they will be abit baloony (my whole reason for wanting 185/45/15 wankangs) :-(

Thanks :-D

look on here mate: http://www.tyrestretch.com/

shows a few tyres on 6.5 rims. look for some bridgestones

i run bridgestone potenzas, sweet tyres 165/50s

i ran 195s on a 7j rim and the sidewall was allmost flush with a tiny hint of stretch so no balloon or stretch on a 6.5j

195/45 should do the trick. But if you want a narrower tyre 165/50 looks ifne on them. Its not an uber stretch, just a little bit. I've given mine some serious abuse and never bust them off the rim or anything so its all good.
