my mate keeps bugging me about seeing what his g40 is worth and if i can flog it for him, i've asked for a spec list but he's slow as so i'll put down what i can remember.

the car; j plate, black, original g40 shell, couple of car park dints but pretty clean - no rot!

cracked windscreen (badly) no tax or test

running gear decent shocks and springs all round down 40-60mm ged bar, nylon arb blocks to move cast, recent polybushed front end rose jointed arms etc grooved front discs, mk2 golf gti rear disc set up.

1341 engine done between 10 and 20k recent charger psd fulll blend doubt it's done 5k, recent clutch and gear linkage, solid alloy box mount, thermostated oil cooler, front mount intercooler toothed belts (worn) bmw 535 or something close to that alternator, oil catch tank 4 branch manifold plus more i can't remember haven't seen the car for 6 months it's in storage!

clear front indicators and i think repeaters, red/smoked hella rears. sat on original 13" bbs g40 rims but comes with 3 good and 1 dinged front passenger 14"rsl cults i think (splits, needs new lip)

gt cards with large speaker pods but also genuine g40 cards, 300mm sport wheel, plasma vr6 clocks, full clifford with remote start, clean interior (g40)

he paid £2400 for it a year ago then fitted the clutch and charger rebuild. i sold him lots of bits off daveg40's black gt40 i was breaking so he has boxes of spares and 2 black spare doors etc etc

there are obviously lots of bits i can't remember, i told him he's probably best off breaking it but he just wants it gone in one piece.

if there is alot of interest in breaking it for parts i'll put it to him, other than that he wants no less than £1600 as it stands.

yes, sorry inbox is cleared, i'll ask him to get pics, car is located in bracknell. runs and drives fine. i'll get a contact number for him today so he can give you full spec and condition etc.
