will 13's clear valver brakes?

dont think so but dont hold me to that (would depend on the offset)

13's will clear standard mk4 brakes not sure on other marks but yes it does matter on the offset an dish

13s will clear 239mm 8v brakes but the caliper and disc of a valver (256mm discs) will not sit inside 13s.

As mentioned above, if the offset was sat so far out that the inside of the wheel was literally nowhere near the brakes then it wouldn't matter on the size of the wheel... but i've never seen this done or see the point really.

I'm sure my mates got valver brakes on his 8V and he can run 13's fine.

The answer is generally no. None of my VW 13s would go on the Ibiza 16v's 256's,the steels get nowhere near.

As also said above,there are some exceptions with silly low offsets.

some 13's can be run over 256 brakes. things like tarmonts,compomotives and stuff like that i believe

My mates wellers in 13" x 7" need spacers to clear 8v brakes. hope that helps
