Has anyone ever changed the hubs on there mk3 coupe to a different stud pattern? I'm sure mk3 golfs and 3b passats have 5x100 hubs and if i could change my 4x100 to 5x100 that would be ideal. main thing being i dont want to use adapters, so if anyone has any advice on straight swaps or simple conversions that would be great.

The hub carrier is part of the suspension leg on a mk3 polo, so you'd only be able to change the hub if you used to completely different front suspension setup...

i recon you need to get freindly with your local gsf and get them to get a polo hub and any 5x100 hubs they have off the shelf and see if any of them are the same

you will need discs and drums 5x100 too tho and that may be a bit more difficult

i can't see why you couldn't get new discs hubs and drums and have it all drilled and new threads tapped in to change the stud pattern without resorting to spacers
