Really, i think the first ones they stand out more but i understand they might look abit odd and perhaps stand out too much, and yeh it will be on a white car, cheers.

They look different, the first ones are more black with the black bit around the indicator.

its just the contrast difference between the two pictures dude, and they dont exist without the black bit around the indicator if i remember correctly, looks like the bottom ones have just been photoshopped

just thought i'd let you know mate

Really they were used to advertise them on the internet, oh well i bought the first ones anywho

did you knw they only have plastic lenses? apparently HID's are a no no for them.

I have FK Angel eyes in mine with 6000K HID's. The headlights look much better IMO.

great thing about the FK's is you can make the halo rings whatever colour you want!

oh and glass lenses

and the single piece ones dont allow you to attach your grill surround to the car properly as you cant remove the frickin indicator to put the nut back in!

just to add the FK's have seperate indicators! Just like the OEM units. Only one prob with these! You have to make a few mods to your radiator panel to get them to fit.

id you knw all angel eyes for the Mk4 have 7 pin conectors???

I've just fitted some of the FK Powerlooks, which is what Chrispy has and they look great. Only tricky bits as mentioned is cutting the radiator panel, bit of re-wiring as mine is a '96, with no electric headlight leveling and four pin connector and then the fact that they're all LHD!

Yeah i like Chrispys! I got the 1st ones they are Sonars... if you CAN get them without the black bits around it do it!!!

There is no problems with plastic headlamps and HIDS, as HID bulbs do not generate as much heat as normal filament bulbs.

The reason the manufacturer says no to HIDs in some aftermarket headlamps is the fact that the HID 'bulbs' are often longer than the standard H1/H7 bulb and it will touch the end of the optic / or not fit properly into the back of the cluster - such as not being able to get the screw off cap on properly.

We sell loads of aftermarket headlamps and with most have no problems whatsoever with selling separate HID kits for them.

Just for your information SONAR are just one of about 6 different companies in Taiwan that manfacturer 'angel eyes' and 'lexus lights'.

oh lol i just brought some fk angel eyes what mods have to be made to get em to fit????

if you CAN get them without the black bits around it do it!!!

if the black bits piss you off that much you could always extend the black along the length of the cluster like i did on my old car :D

mine are 1 piece... had to cut/sand the metal bodywork where the indicator sits... as otherwise the lights dont sit flush

my indicators went in fine!

straight swap, no mods.

just the actual headlight, you need to cut in to the radiator panel to get them to fit. If you bought genuine FK headlights there should be a manual inside telling you what parts to cut away.
