Featured Replies

Still.. when most jacks come in at £20 on there own, your only paying a fiver extra and getting a load of other usefull stuff!

plus a big box to maybe post something in lol

actually, the box was falling apart and now its unusable

why?

if it can lift it, it can hold it.

all you gotta do is make sure it wont slide out again

Me and and 2 mates could lift the front end of mt Mk3, doesnt mean we could hold it up while someone hanges the exhaust..

Quality is in the durability, but you should still always use axle stands etc. Forget the price of the jack, i'd rather not be squashed lol.

always use axle stands, ud be a fool not too.

even bricks if your really tight.

A couple of years ago someone off here (can't remember who) somehow got his head sandwiched between the ground and his car's sill, and got trapped :puke:

He put up pics of the cuts he got and it was enough to make me never use a jack without axle stands again! Even for 2 min jobs!

Don't use bricks - they can crack, better off using blocks of wood!

lol @ this thread...

i'm the prowd owner of 4 pairs of axle stands, but i'v seen cars fall off em...

alot to be said for working on a level, stable surface, regardless of how you jack up your vehicle.

i have a pit....problem solved
