Hi guys,

sorry to bother you with a stupid question but I bought a Polo 1.2 with the promise to get the manual later, so now i need some help...

When i make contact with the key a spanner icon appears on the dashboard for about 15 sec and disappears. (icon is not shown when i directly start the car). Can you tell me what it means?

it means service the car. The manual tells you how to turn the service indicator off. But i think it is:

press and hold trip reset,

turn key to ignition on

leave go of trip reset

twist to the right

turn off ignition

turn ignition back on and it should disappear.
