My cars soon to go into the bodyshop for a full respray, however the guy who is restoring my car doesnt do plastic welding, which means the parts of my bumpers I need smoothing cannot be done by him to a good standard, he had an idea of how he would do it but it sounded pretty bodge.

so without having the vents and number plate recess on my front bumper smooth their isn't much point having it resprayed?

would this be easy enough to do myself? if so what materials would I need etc. I have seen guides on here but dont want the filler cracking in a months time and ruining my new paintwork
