The GT

Featured Replies

Right not really been on here that much lately because of work & other commitments but I picked this up on Monday night after selling my 6N a week before so had been using my bike for a week to get around :lol:

Well i've always wanted one of these and told myself I would have it when a friend decided they were selling up

I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking :-D

Cheers bud, not too sure yet other than to get the body work practically mint so that there isn't one sign of rust or car park ding as i'm now working at a Bodyshop so will be a lot easier.

Then I might go for some 14" wider wheels but not too big but after that I haven't got a clue. Going to keep the Sebrings though they give it such an original look :-D

mate that car is perrrrrrrfect! all I would do is de wiper the boot! very tidy indeed

hmmm i wonder who took those pics!?

i guess u got it home ok? did u get a puncher in the end?

so this car has changed hands again!

look after it 8-)

Yeah alright I haven't had time to get any new pics. And you fag how did you change those pics?:finger:

Yeah got it home fine the tyre was just really flat and I had to keep getting Ben to check it was till inflated whilst driving along  But all the other tyres were really low too

Don't worry Neil it'll will be well looked after got plans to get it looking immaculate :nod:8-)

Lol they are all on my photobucket account so i changed them. Beware as i can do it to the rest of the pic's that are up there.

I'm going to have to put the pic of the jewish dog back up though!

Thats how much they put in there when i had the tyres fitted, the guy said you shouldnt put too much in as they are slightly stretched. So i guess it was you just worrying about nothing again!

Well the tyres said the max pressure is 44psi so I put them all up to 35psi. But i'll soon get some normal sized tyres put on because i'm not really a fan of the stretched tyres look

You obviously have too much time to spare then  How is it over there then?

I have loads of time at the moment as the TV is crap!

Petrol is cheap tho 25p per litre

Driving is a fun game, the locals can drive at the age of 15 and they dont need to pass a driving test! Been driving around in a 7 series V8 BMW, which is fun but nothing like the polo as its way too big.

Everything else is just way over the top, but laughable.

you've bought a very nice gt!

i loved it when stueyb had it, those wheels on 165/50s set it off a treat! looks seriously pimp, 15s on a mk3 work very well!

hahaha loving the new personilsed plate. i think you got it just right!

What have I missed something?

could not have picked a better GT

8-)

sweeeeet

heyhey roly,

Nice to see if looking clean.

Completely agree with the others, nankangs look wanky and don't imagine they compare in anyway grip wise to the bridgestones. Defo miss the GT's since my bro's had his now, just a shame you beat me to buying it back.

If you need any info / history / help with regards the car just gimme a shout, happy to see if looked after.

Couple of things tho, sub box can be tilted up against the back seat, ala my pic in the members section. And defo de-wiper the rear, I never got round to it. Other than that interested to see what wheels you go for!

Enjoy it, great little car.

if u want to sell the sebrings let me know! ;)

Haha i guess u have hosted them somewhere else now? Lesson learnt.

If you are keeping the sebrings put it back on the bridgestone's, they look much better and wont give you that stupid stretch. I the nankangs were cheaper and a lot easier to get hold of, but they scrub quite a bit. With the bridgestone's i was able to have three people in it with out scrubage.
