I always wondered if a tuned naturally aspirated 1.3 golf would have the same power to weght ratio as a standard 1.8 gti top stuff

I remember a good while ago some one from club polo did a PY conversion (G40) in to a mk2 golf but I dunno if the PY engine was standard or not but power to weght ratio must have been way above a mk2 1.8 gti.

thatwould of bin my brother graeme (ereeiz on forums). was a fucking monster, heavily tuned engine, had a rr graph when it was in a polo of 168bhp, never got round to getting it done in the golf, used to eat driveshafts - 7 in 3 weeks. swapped it for a mk4 16v off some lad on here called stu iirc

It's off the classics for a while now, the tyres are worn out so i bought more alloys...

Yeah, i bought them for the tyres really - good toyo's... they aren't ideal, but they'll do...

AEE's pretty good... gearbox isn't though, rattles like bollocks at idle. Fancy a polo GT box i think - got any spare 5 speeders?
