14x9's up front on a 6n !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do people even read these threads properly before bothering to post? I asked for an accurate answer !

if you're just gonna come out with sarcastic comments like that then fuck off?!

there is a guy on here called Gugz with a 6n with 9's all round. if you search for him he can tell you :>

ET20

oh yeh, and foxie did :>

I might go 9's on the rear ET20 and 8's on the front?

is that a safer option?

you could possibly get away with 9's et20 on the rear, but you might get trouble with the police as foxie did. I say 8's alround will be perfect though imo.

If i went for 9's et20 on the rear i personally would have my rear arches pulled abit.

^^ Would i be ok with 9j et20 on the rear with 195/45?? i cant get arch pulled.. and dont really want to have 195/40's..

i was ok for a while till the police gave me 3points for it :D

ooops lol,

Well ill have to run the risk and keep the tyres under, what tyres where you running Foxie and what sizes up front? any pics aswell?

Sounds like yours had my ideal stance so something for reference would be great.

I'm getting the arches pulled and flared to get 9's on the rear, was just worried about rubbing issues with the offset.

gonna go for 8's on the front and 9's on the rear with 195/45 all round 8-)

195/45 is not suited for 9's, go for 215/40 or 225/40

explain why this is not suited then?

LOTS of stretch, theyll fit though.

I run 8J/ET13 all round on mine, rubbed lots until i rolled the arches.

Didnt martin with the Polo of boom run 14x9s up front and 14x10s at the rear?

Duno if they were 10's, but I'm sure he had arch mod's.

I need to know Foxie's specs, gotta get it all decided before i buy anything.

Martin's rear arches were custom made to fit 10's

here are some 9's with 195 tyres.

8x14 front ET15 195/40/14 tyres

9x14 rear ET20 215/40/14 tyres

you WON'T find 215/40s anywhere, just go for 195/45 Toyos allround instead (they have bigger side wall so will fit a 9 better)

I was on standard arches.

Brilliant mate

If you ran 215/40's with standard arches, i think i'll defo be ok with the extra stretch 195/45's will give.

How low were you? Any pics?

he was really low from the photos he had up a while back

Thats what I'm hoping for :D

Dont want to run tino any arch issues, ill camber the rears anyway..
