Just turned 19 and got an insurance quote of tesco.com for a 1.4 16v and it came up at £215 for the year really pleased with the deal just need to find my 16v now lol :)

I just paid 360 to hsbc for mine and I've been driving for 5 and a half years with no claims or anything.

odd thing was that the postoffice underwrote me with Zurich and quoted just shy of 600 but hsbc also underwrote me with zurich and i got 360.

well I'm with co-op atm so thought i would see wt i could get wiv them first and it was summit daft like £2500 which is ridiculous lookin at wt I've got at tesco now was told that tesco have a 50% discount when u buy online so checked it out and there it is £215 in al its glory lol

i just got a renewel of 830 on a 1.6 8v but paying monthly goes up to 1000 LOOOOOOONG lol jopefully less when i get my new car in july! cant wait

sometimes you can get a quote online and it'll be completely different if you ring up..

i would ring up tesco and check that this is right otherwise they may turn round and tell you where to go if there was an accident..

£215 CANNOT be a real quote, if thats your policy then you must have made an error somewhere mate...

No company would insure a 9 year old on a group 10, commonly a 'boy-racer' car for so little. Think about it. If you ring them and they still quote you that then i may believe it!
