VW FOX

Featured Replies

My next door neighbour bought a new car... VW FOX!! i've never seen that car and i'd wish i've never seen it! It's so ugly that it can not be VW!! It's probably the most fucked up car VW ever made!!

I've seen front first and i though... its not bad,

they've been on sale for about 18 months now I think, it's supposed to be the Lupo replacement. Pretty shite though, made in Brazil I think.

Yeah the sales for them are shocking. It should be getting replaced by the Up soon. Rear engined, rear wheel drive. Just like the aircooled stuff was :D

give me the lupo any day!

like the twingos tho

Seriously? Twingos sound gay and look gayer!

yus i like them, the renault sport one looks like it'll be a big seller

How the Fox (which is bigger than a Mk4 Polo) could ever replace the Lupo I will never know.

the lupo sort of replaced the mk4/5 polos when the mk6 came out, as it was getting bigger. people still wanted a smaller car but saftey shit keeps making cars bigger hence why the lupo has only 4 seats while a 6n (basically the same size) can seat 5

yeah- made in brazil and you can tell it! its got a vw badge but not got much quality. nothing to them. they do have a lot of cup holds tho for some strange reason....

The parcel shelf and the roof lining is made from pineapples

That just shows you how cheap vw is now

The MK5 Golf is being replaced as it is too expensive to produce...........sad times :-(

^^^^^^^^^

Not to subject change to much but whats the golf going to be replaced with

are they still keeping the golf name for the MK6

I wouldn't say the Fox is horrendously ugly...it's not pretty...it's just bland..

I like the 'UP' concept, look cool and having in the engine towards the rear is interesting. Looking at how short the rear overhang is, doesn't look like it'll be too far back...will be interesting to see if you can package it properly to allow plenty of space in the rear. Wonder how no engine up front effects crash tests as well?

New Renault Sport Twingo is quite cool, EVO have some excellent photos in their recent review, can't find any online though...

It's probably a Mk1 Clio chassis

I dont think they're that ugly, just bit pointless, the Up sounds cool though.

That just shows you how cheap vw is now

You can probably thank the Veyron's £5,000,000 per car build cost for that...

Torsion beam rear suspension, it was never going to do anything but tripod!
