I've been asked by the people at my current insurer to supply them with my engine code and chasis numbers only problem is I've looked all round the car and have been unable to find a metal plate with this info on it does any one know where it is??????

Look at the first page of your service book, or in the spare wheel well in the boot, where there's a sticker with both codes on it.

Engine code will be three letters, probably something like AEX or APQ.

Chassis number is 17 digits starting with WVWZZZ6N
