Time has come to sell my scirocco GT2

its a 91 J reg GT2 in royal blue (LA5U).

1 Months Tax

10 Months MOT.

128K i think... will confirm later.

It is in average condition for the car it is.

Converted to manual choke carb but not weber. its got a manual pierburg carb from a mk2 golf.

Had a new MOT on it with a few advisory's but i used it as a daily driver whilst looking for another polo.

Bad points:

Idle is fluctuating... it will idle fine one minute then drop the next minute to about 250 rpm.

oil leak from engine somewhere.

ideal rolling project.

no real rust on body but sills were advisory for next mot (August)

no service history

damage to front corner... never bothered me its just bent the bumper and cracked the valance/bodykit.

Good points:

apart from the idle it is a strong runner and pulls well.

rare colour... not seen many roccos in this colour

Heated washer jets

Recently replaced front disks, pads and RHS front brake line and flexi, Fan thermoswitch

Also it wont come with the p-slots, it will be on 13" MK3 golf steels.

Not meaning to hijack Tom. This was my brother's car before Tom, so I know it well. Aside from the minor damage to the corner, it is a beautiful car and the pics really don't do it justice. Yeah, the carb could do with some tickling (a replacement isn't hard to find if it came to it). IMO, it's well worth the asking price, I'd have it myself if my fleet weren't so big already :(

yeh the carb was a replacement pierburg with manual choke but i think it may just need tweaking as i am not a carb expert.
