MK3 Polo 1.3 CL Coupe Metalic Green

Here we have for sale my girlfriends 1.3 CL Polo Coupe, 4 speed. It has served us well for 3 years but she has bought herself a new car so it has to go! It has 10 months MOT and tax runs out in January. Loads of service histry is included and a bunch of old MOTs to proove the milage, the car has only had 3 owners from new!

Modifications:

Front tyres recently replaced, rears are budget but have loads of tread

As you can see from the pics a front wing trim is missig but it will be included, long term plans were to remove all the side trims and fit some poverty spec arch spats, which I also have. It does have an alarm and immobilisor but the batteries in the fobs ran out so I switched it off since I couldnt be bothered to sort em. The 2 fobs and alarm key are included, as well as both VW keys and the petrol cap key.

It drives superbly especially when you consider its 17 years old! Its a rather nice shade of metalic green called capri green iirc, and it scrubs up lovely! The alloys are multi fitment so have 8 bolt holes, but as you can see OEM MK3 Polo plastic centre caps fit rather nicely! Problem is 2 of them fell off, but the ones I do have plus a lad of nut covers will be included. The car has never been smoked in, as shown by the mint condition cigarette lighter and ashtray. All the orginal glass is there and is etched, and the windscreen is in excellent condition. Always starts on the button, ultra reliable!

However the car does have some trolley dents and patches of surface rust here & there as you would expect for a car of this age.

I'm asking £650 for it, if I get the price I want I will include a set of genuine MK3 Polo electric window motors, plus an uncut MK2 Golf electric window loom to run them which I never got round to fitting. I also have some switches that fit in the door cards, but you'll have to splice these into the MK2 loom if you decide to use them! I had a MK3/Passat rear window switch somewhere too, which apparently will fit straight into a dash blank slot and can be made to work with the loom, this will also be thrown in if I can find it.

I have a set of pics taken today but I can't upload them yet, but here are a selection of photos taken the day we bought it and some more of it hiding behind my golf which show the alloys. Those of you with eagle eyes will spot the snapped aerial, but this has since been replaced.
