:) Hi all :)

Just wanted to clear a few points up regarding AsRat. The car was built purely for fun, nothing more nothing less. It was built by myself and a lad called Brett, and it was done for promotion of the club I am the chairman off, to carry some stand gear, and to remind us messing around with cars should be fun and without attitude :)

The wheels came off my Mk2 golf driver I had a few years back and were hanging around in the garage. Porsche wheels had never been put on a Mk3 in the UK before so we thought why not! Pretty much every mod on the car is to poke some fun at various scenes and attitudes, again all just pure fun.

AsRat is a second car for us, Brett has a work van and a vectra, I have an astra show car, leon mk2 FR, astra mk4 van and of course Asrat - so I think I can afford a respray and I am not a chav or pikey

Glad to see the car has caused soo much reaction it makes us laugh all the more, especially those that have to analyze it and find a reason for its existence TO those of you that get it, its nice to know that not all the car scene has a humor by pass

There are quite a few little mods on the cars that most miss (mainly due to the amount of crap on it ). The wipes on the front are put back on at the end of each show, we tried rain-x in fact loads of it and it just wasnt enough. So they come off at the show and it takes about 5 mins to do, the parts are then put in the suitcase on the roof
