Take one set of Polo GTI BBS

Typical lacquer corrosion and generally dull lips

Paint stripper them

Scrap off the lacquer with a plastic card and hit it with some Peek metal polish and voila...! Polished lips

Then goto the paint shop and try and find a pink that compliments the blue

Hit the centres and mirror caps with it (cheers to Mick, even though he hates me for keep bringing him hard to paint stuff )

Trial fit

Lost my wallet on Thursday though so they have been put on hold. Need some new bolts and to swap tyres around but can't do it without money. So sat waiting to go on, hopefully will be on soon!

Blue and pink just work, complimentary colours.

Blue and green can work, blue and orange is better though. Art lesson over.

I don't think the colour of green you have chose compliments the blue of the car. I'm not saying blue and green can't work cause I tried a few greens up against my car and they looked good. I just think the pink compliments the blue of my car. Imo the green would work better if it were more of a pastel colour.

I was going for porsche gt3rs viper green but the guy who refurbed my wheels didnt get that colour, said they would be more of a kawaski green, which is brighter and what i wanted. turns out they were more lime and not to what i asked

Just spent 10 mins tryin to fins a pic of my blue mk2 golf on neon yellow steelies. Not got one. FAIL!

That does not complement the blue at all, but heads up for trying something different.
