whats the best wheel wax that youve used? and what did it cost? was it effective

reason being i want to run my new wheels for as long as i can before i have to switch back to the winters.

bearing in mind the wheels are polished

I wouldnt suggest it, bare polished alloy is a pain in winter. One of the reasons why I'm investing in stainless dish's on my bbs's

jetseal 109 i am about to purchase some it is 21.95, but its is reported to be like nothing else!

I'm using turtle wax brake dust barrier, its not bad, but i haven't used anything else to compare it with. its bout £5/£6 from halfords. i should try the above tho, sounds good

Used to use Auto Glyms wheel seal but i've just started using Poorboys wheel wax at the price of £16. Think its much better then the Auto Glym spray.

Glad my new wheels will be normal silver, no salt damage fingers crossed.

Fully polished treatment will come after xmas.

I usually get lazy, wreck my wheels and then just re-polish them when the weather picks up a bit

i have radnoix stainless steel dishs on the bbs rm's

i could run them through the winter but iam not

i've got some autoglym wheel sealer.

but its an aerosol not a wax

wheels wax is good stuff!

i just can never be bothered to apply it

I'm using the meguires stuff, seems to work well. i ran polished rims through winter a few years back and didnt have any probs. i did clean them and wax them once a week though

thats what i'll be doing if i do run them through the winter

yeah i reckon i will be running them through winter unless i fond some cheap hoops elsewhere!

i might try some of that stuff christian as i plan on running the schmidts through the winter
