I have taken delivery of my new polo MK7 Sport, and here she is:

This is my first Polo, after having a new beetle for 2 years. I think the MK7 polo is taking the forward the vibe of the golf, as the golf has had to adapt due to setting the standard for so many years, so its forced to become what it has become. As the golf has a range similar to the polo (S, Match, GT, GTI ETC..) i want to make this the Polo "GT", as i think its been inappropriately titled as the "Sport" currently. First steps - badges front and back (like the golf) ad the steering wheel emblem (like the golf). Then its the skirts all round, and maybe the GT style alloys. Will post pics of progress....

I had to wait an extra 4 months to have the Flash Red..... Well worth it!

All colour coded as standard, you lucky person.

I know the chrome grille is also standard, but I've got to be honest I don't like it. Looks a bit too tacky for my liking.

Must admit - this is one reason i waited for the Flash Red, the chrome Grille doesnt work with anything else. But having said that, i might play around with the grille - either install a mesh grille, or try something different, such as making the "V" black like the GTI, but keeping the grille (if it looks stupid, i will just bung on the mesh grille anyway! ) Anyone kow the best way to do this without applying paint (last resort!), maybe vynal?

Looks very nice, you've got some good ideas for it, i think honeycomb grilles will make it alot more 'GT'ish.
