Okay so some people will know me, some wont.. I've had the car just over a year now and its been slow progress. but recently its come on a fair bit

I finally got round to buying and fitting coilovers, and decided to give the steelies a lick of paint to be different.

Heres some progress pics, then some pics of how it is now

The Autotrader pic from before i bought it.

Got it home and gave it a good clean/polish..

Had a mess with the dials to make them white and glow red.

Fitted remote central locking..

Got some cheap as fook sport raider alloys

Whipped the bumpstrips off..

And heres how it sits today after fitting the coilovers and painting the steelies orange, not to everyones taste but i like them, and ill be getting alloys soon, just gonna run steels through winter though. Oh and the private plate i got for my birthday, the illegally spaced ones read MIKE VW :p

Think i may lower it abit more, but just gonna see how it is when its settled properly

get some mk5 rears :) it'll look sweet... maybe space your steelies out a bit?

looks nice, not too sure about the wheels tho, not a fan of steels

sprayed the white things lol, bmw alpine white.

i quite like the mk4 lights tbh, orange indis work with the wheels haha, although i might get some mk5s but its not on the top of my to do list..

wouldnt mind spacing the steelies abit too

He swapped them for a strut brace i think.

I like the standard lights tbf.

yeah i did have mk5s but i did a deal on them, couldnt get them to sit flush enough lol, might just get 16v rears.

it only cost me about 30quid to spray the wheels. The colour is ford carnival orange or carnival red i think :S

yeah i did have a stubby ariel, but i wanted the standard one back on to put the orange 76 ball on too match the wheels haha :p

also my dad said it looks like a dodgum/go kart with the big ariel/stubby mirrors and lowered haha

little update, car is dirty as fuck and so are the trims..
