Did someone say leather? :D

Featured Replies

Full heated Recaro leather from a VR6 Highline (In mint condition) fitted today, had the fronts in for a while, but got them all sorted properly now, the back seats were a ball-ache to do, had to take all the leather and foam off them, and put them onto the backs of my Polo seats, so that the clips etc fitted.

Can't tell that i changed the backs over whn fitted either :p.

Anyway, Pics:

The backs:

Backs need sorting out at the top, the headrest frames are making the leather look saggy at the top, so they need mounting further down to tighten the leather up, this will be done tommorow, along with better pics (It was going dark).

And parked on the 'Fish Alley' set of the new Sherlock Holmes film thats being filmed at my work next week :

Next: Leather handbrake from GTI, Leather gearknob from GTI, and eventually black leather colour concept doorcards, which are proving hard to find for the Polo.

Electric windows will also be fitted when i find doorcards.

Ordering a wiring loom and switches tonight for the heated seats too.
