Metro looks cool mate as does the mk2 golf. I think you should small bumper it! Were they the mattigs that were on your coupe S? Wish i had bought that car now it looked mint did it go to an enthusiast?

Don't wish to sound like a cnut but that ain't no Jetta front, this is one.

Nice though, had a couple of Mk2 GTi's myself. 8v for power low down, 16v for screaming up the rev range.

here is some fresh imigery for you all.

fitted my mk2 jetta front and sprayed the bottom of the grill the metal trim bit to match the colour of the car and sprayed the badge black.also got a thin roll of wheel tape and put it on the grill.

i think it looks ace.

the outside it about done now might get a n/s/r door as mine has been resprayed and is very cloudy and kinda brings the whole car down.

my carb webber dmtr should be here monday just need to sorce a adapter plate as webber no longer make them or fabricate one.

and today i gave it a clean and went to get some pic in a few different locations as I've not got many pics yet.

anyway here are a few of the best in my opinion.and to think this car would ahve proberly been scraped:( unbelieveable........still need to do the head gasket as yet and i need to get port and polishing the head once that done i can get it skimmed and rebuilt.

anyway

first destination was at the local fishmarket where my dad works so i can get in there as its a good setting.

That's my favourite, just because I like the Jetta front end.

Paintwork is lovely, but is it just me or is the splitter a bit wonky?

resize1.jpg

This is the first time i have ever thought a jetta front end could look better than a golf one on small bumpers! looks awsome mate!

^ This pic especially! ^
