thats fully sick! we saw a fella who'd turbo'd his 1.0l 106 for a laugh on standard internals, had a chat with him and at the time he'd manaed 4k without it breaking!

i recon it wont last long...could stall the supercharger too....so bye bye charger!

Some professional bodging is needed to get this going.

First of all the late spec head only has one pressure sender (check out where they are now)

Using a full G40 loom, ecu, dizzy, inlet, etc.

Charger bracket only bolts up to 2 holes, but thats ok.

Whacked some G40 spark plugs in. For the fuelling, going to run it on a 68mm pulley chip on a 65mm pulley. Precise there

Had to trim the exhaust manifold and ARB mount to get the charger and pullies in, and need a longer toothed belt.

All thats remaining to do is sort out the oil return. So off to a hydraulics place tomorrow see if theyve got a banjo bolt the size of the sump nut.

Either that or the sumps coming off and weld a nut on the inside.

Then boost pipes and it should run (for a bit )

Maybe tomorrooooooow.

Yeah, but I've got an old oil drain pipe with a ring big enough for the sump nut, so if I can get a banjo bolt big enough I wont have to take the sump off.

well its good and bad that your using 1L block head and gearbox lol

good - 1L pistons come out the top of the block ever so slightly, so clearance on g40 head would be CLOSE!

bad - melty melty, sure the valves wont last long haha

Well I got some fancy pipe made up for the return, and a longer belt. Just need to get them on and the intercooler and jobs a goodun.

Anyone know if the ecu will get the hump if the knock sensors unplugged? Or should I just tape it up and stick it in the scuttle?
