Hi..

I'm thinking of flushing my door handles, bumpers and boot on my 6n2..

Just wondering if you guys have any good places in mind for me to get this done? In the london area possibly?

My car before I sold it, had the handles completely flushed off, was operated via solenoid 'popper' in the door via key fob. Personally, I would say forget it it was nothing but hassle leaning over to let friends into the car, waiting to enter my own car. Not to mention the one time (I'd not had the car long) got locked out in a petrol station and had to get the RAC out to 'break' in. Cold? But we won't go into details.

It's your idea, however from my experiences it got on my nerves.

As for which bodyshop, check online reviews, word of mouth etc. If they do excellent work on your bumpers (if you got them done first) then go back to them for the boot.

yea sounds like a right hassle.. but i want my door handles flattened for a smoother look..not totally flushed.

get audi 80 door handles, thats what i want to do, looks nasty

yeah, i been looking for a set for a while. nobody breaks them. i nearly got a set, but when i told him i will be cutting the handles out and scrap the rest of the door he refused to sell them to me
